The Western Front Hotel is a gem in the mountains of western Virginia, seriously upgrading the little town of St. Paul. We stayed in room 211 July 22-24, 2018 and found the hotel absolutely lovely. The style of the hotel is urban hip, a bit unusual for a small town. The rooms are lovely; my husband found the bed so very comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic with a giant shower and lots of wonderful soap and shampoo products, one filled with eucalyptus that made the whole room smell delicious. The restaurant was closed during our stay, but the Sugar Hill Brewery was nearby; it proved to be tons of fun with great microbrews. Abingdon is nearby with more great restaurants. We loved our experience at the Western Front and in St. Paul. We will return! ~ Guest
My wife have stayed at the Western Front Hotel twice now - we love it! The rooms are fantastic - spacious and comfortable. The extra “touch” of having a bucket to place out each night to have filled with breakfast items the next morning is so cool. Lots to do in the area - close to the Clinch River for fishing - trails for running and hiking. Cannot recommend this enough! ~ Guest
