    Part history museum, part art gallery, there's no better place to enjoy the spirit of Appalachia than the Mountain Heritage Museum & Gallery. This is where you can learn about the history of the area and view the works of local and regional artists showcasing the beauty of Great Appalachian Valley. The museum is open during Clinch River Days. The rest of the year, it is open by appointment only.
