Discover the most authentic farm-to-table dining in southwest Virginia at Milton's at the Western Front Hotel. Enjoy creative Appalachian cuisine made from local meats and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Most of the food is grown and caught by Executive Chef Travis Milton, a St. Paul, Virginia native who is true to his southern culinary roots.

Discover traditional Appalachian food with a playfully modern spirit. Share starters like the chicken fried bacon or crackin' cornbread. Savor delectable trout and catfish pulled fresh from the Clinch River. Dig into a tender sirloin hand-raised in the region. Classic sides like leather britches, squash casserole, and pole beans are unpretentiously innovative.

The decor at Milton's is as creative and native as the food. As you enter through the old St. Paul jail door from the late 1800s, you feel the local history and vibe of the restaurant. On the back wall, a mural of St. Paul from the early 19th-century reflects the restaurant's connection to the Heart of Appalachia - its people, its music, and its cooking.

"I've always dreamed of coming back and opening a restaurant right where it all began for me."
- Chef Travis Milton
